Giant Trevally are brutes that cruise the ocean drop-offs around Christmas Island and are commonly known as one of the toughest fish species in the world with a total disregard for your expensive fishing gear. Caught by popper casting or jigging, GT's are one of the dominant sportsfishing species on the island and are a frequent capture.  They can range from rats at 10kgs up to 50kg monsters.
