Shorefire Report Oct 2011

 

October is usually a prime month for fishing on Christmas island and this proved to be the case again for 2011. Henning , Fleming and "Bender" travelled all the way from Denmark to fish with us and they certainly weren't disappointed. While GTs were a bit on the small side they still manged to stretch the boys on their maiden GT voyage. The wahoo and tuna fishing was crazy at times and "Bender" topped the trolling with a nice marlin.You'll also notice a huge yellowfin tuna taken by Peter who was fortunate enough to get a quick fish in with us between charters. The massive fish totally inhaled a pink River2Sea Rover stickbait and proved to be the outstanding capture of the 2011 season.
